This command gives you the app_id for use in for_window rules:
swaymsg -t get_tree | grep app_id

Set the environment variable:
export SWAYSOCK=/run/user/$(id -u)/sway-ipc.$(id -u).$(pgrep -x sway).sock

Add a script in /etc/profile.d/wayland.sh:
