Coders have to grow

Posted in Knowhow on

This video was at the top of the almost endless collection of software engineering videos in my RSS feed reader today:

Dave published his advice to grow out of the “coder” role last year, long before LLMs conquered the world, but it only gained in significance since. Translating specifications into code is becoming the domain of coding agents. It’s the definition of those specs and the design of the code’s architecture where software developers now find their work cut out for them.

Coders will have to grow to stay relevant. Which is precisely what I want to help you with in The Server Room.
