RSX-11 - Installing RPM package manager

The commands below fetch, install, and manage RPM packages on RSX-11.

Download the package from ftp://rpm@mim.update.uu.se/rpm.pkg

LBR RPM=RPM.PKG/EX:LIB
LBR RPM=RPM.PKG/EX:RPM
LBR CONFIG.CMD=RPM.PKG/EX:CONFIG

Edit CONFIG.CMD

Update package list with @RPM FETCH

Put RPM under its own control by running @RPM INSTALL RPM

Other commands:

  • @RPM LIST
  • @RPM FETCH+LIST
  • @RPM UNINSTALL <pkg>
