MinIO is an object-storage system that offers an S3-compatible API.

Create a new bucket

Create the bucket:

mc mb ALIAS/BUCKET

Buckets serving objects to the internet need to have anonymous download permissions:

mc anonymous set download ALIAS/BUCKET

Create user for the new bucket

Standard policy definition for bucket access:

Import the bucket policy and attach it to the bucket:

mc admin policy add ALIAS my_bucket_policy my_bucket_policy.json

Add a new user account:

mc admin user add ALIAS ACCESSKEY SECRETKEY

Attach the user policy:

mc admin policy set ALIAS my_bucket_policy user=ACCESSKEY
